Paddles are held on the first, second and last Saturday of the month. Meet at the venue no later than 9:30 am with a view to being on the water by 10:00am.
Paddles on 1st & 2nd Saturday of the month will be shorter paddles catering for novice paddlers/skills development etc. Last Saturday of the month will be a longer paddle or weekend away.
Paddle co-ordinator reserves the right to change venue if required for safety reasons.
Where a paddle is cancelled due to weather, members will be offered the choice of paddling on the day after if weather is suitable. Please take this into consideration when planning your paddle activities.
Paddles with a designated lunch stop state BYO lunch – otherwise lunch is back at the start point
To confirm your attendance at a day paddle, please email the Club on tarwin.river@gmail.com by the evening of the Wednesday prior to the paddle. All members who have indicated they will be attending will be contacted the day prior to the paddle to confirm that it is proceeding (email or phone) once a final weather check has been undertaken.

| Saturday 24/25th | Latrobe River | Expressions of interest required – Staying at Frog Gully Cottages (back onto the Latrobe River) this will provide an opportunity to paddle both up (from where we left off last time) or down stream (Swing Bridge/Heart Morass etc) without going over “old ground”. There are 2, 2 bedroom cottages on site (1 double and 2 singles) and the proprietor is happy for those not booking a bed to camp on site at no additional charge (representative costs would be spread amongst those attending) – bookings essential for planning purposes |
