About Tarwin River Canoe Club

Tarwin River Canoe Club was established in June 2001, and is based from Tarwin Lower in South Gippsland.

We are a small mobile, active club for the young at heart, who enjoy paddling the rivers, lakes, estuaries and sheltered coastal waters of Gippsland in a variety of Kayaks – sea, estuary and sit on top; combining the relaxing pastime of kayaking with twitching, photography and fishing.

We paddle most of the year (weather permitting) with paddles held on the 1st, 2nd and last Saturday of the month, catering for all levels of experience.  Weekend kayaking trips are also included in the paddle diary.

There are a number of club kayaks available for members to try out before buying, if they have not already done so.
